Fridays

Friday  starts early with teams going to two gleaners to gather the groceries we will distribute this day. We bring our loads to East County Church of Christ where we separate the food into “camps”. Once the food has been divided it is taken to numerous locations in east county where homeless groups have gathered. Sometimes an encampment has moved and finding a new group to receive the food can be a challenge. We average serving 17 camps of 7-10 folks each week.

Sandy River Delta

Also on Fridays a meal is prepared for up to 40 hungry folks. It is served at Lewis and Clark State Park at 4pm in all weather. We have been providing this meal every Friday for nearly 10 years. For this group of folks we also put together a bag of groceries each week.

Aid and Comfort

We provide these additional services:

Rides to appointments, funds for misc expenses, Notary service, mail service, small funds for incarcerated individuals for “comfort” items.
